PRIMARIA: Journal of Elementary and Early Childhood Education is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the study, development, and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of elementary and early childhood education. Published by Sinergi Press, the journal serves as an international forum for researchers, lecturers, school teachers, and educational practitioners to share innovative research, theoretical frameworks, and practical advancements.

Focus and Scope

The journal invites original research articles, case studies, and critical literature reviews that contribute significantly to the understanding and improvement of early and primary education. The scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Primary/Elementary Education (PGSD): Pedagogy, curriculum development, classroom action research (PTK), educational technology, guidance and counseling, and subject-specific instruction (Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Language, and Civics) at the elementary school level.

  • Early Childhood Education (PAUD): Child growth and development (cognitive, socio-emotional, motor, and language skills), play-based learning, early childhood nutrition and well-being, parenting, and inclusive education for the early years.

  • Educational Management & Leadership: Institutional management, school leadership, and teacher professional development within primary and early childhood settings.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate Open Access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published are free for everyone to read, download, copy, and distribute immediately upon publication without any cost to the reader or their institution.

Peer Review Process

Every submitted manuscript undergoes a rigorous evaluation process to ensure academic quality:

  • Initial Screening: Checked by editors for focus, scope, and plagiarism (maximum similarity index: [misal: 20%]).

  • Review Process: Evaluated using a Double-Blind Peer Review system, meaning the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential throughout the process.

  • Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

  • Articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Archiving Policy (LOCKSS and CLOCKSS)

To ensure the long-term preservation and digital archiving of all published scholarly content, this journal utilizes the following systems:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): A distributed archiving system that allows participating libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): A dark archive that guarantees the long-term survival of web-based scholarly publications. Both systems ensure that the journal's digital archives remain safe and accessible in perpetuity.
