Author Guidelines

SINAPSIS: Jurnal Sinergi Analisis dan Publikasi Sains Ilmu Kesehatan welcomes submissions of original research articles, review articles, and case studies. To ensure a smooth editorial and peer-review process, authors must strictly adhere to the following guidelines.

1. General Requirements & Formatting

  • Originality: The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Language: English or Bahasa Indonesia.
  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc / .docx). PDF is not accepted.
  • Layout: A4 paper, 2.54 cm margins, Times New Roman 12 pt, 1.15 or 1.5 line spacing. Length between 4,000 to 7,000 words.

2. Manuscript Structure (IMRAD Format)

  • Title: Concise, specific, and informative (Max 15 words).
  • Abstract: 150–250 words. A structured abstract is required (Background/Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion).
  • Keywords: 3 to 5 keywords (MeSH terms recommended).
  • Introduction: Background, research problem, and objectives.
  • Methods: Study design, population/sample, data collection, data analysis, and Ethical Approval statement.
  • Results: Clear presentation of findings using text, tables, or figures.
  • Discussion: Interpretation of results, comparison with previous studies, and study limitations.
  • Conclusion: Main findings and clinical/research implications.

3. References & Citation Standards

Mandatory Reference Manager: Authors must use an application such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote to manage citations.
  • Citations and reference list must strictly follow the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition style.
  • A minimum of 15-20 references is expected.
  • At least 80% of references should be primary sources (journal articles) published within the last 10 years.
